I work at the intersection of gender, learning and curation. Over the last 13 years, I have worked with numerous people across India, especially women, who have lived a life of anonymity, courage, and softness. What if we were to document their stories for their sons, their friends, the society and the world? I think the wold will benefit tremendously.
Why stories matter
Archiving and retelling stories, especially those that have been gendered or marginalized, is a powerful act. It’s about more than just preserving the past; it’s about reshaping our understanding of it.
When we give voice to unheard narratives, we shift power dynamics. We create spaces for empathy, connection, and collective healing. These stories challenge dominant perspectives, reveal hidden truths, and inspire new ways of being and relating to one another.
